Independent Chef

Our beautiful dive resort not only offers an excellent spot for diving but also a delightful and varied Food & Beverage experience. The two resort restaurants are located by the water and serve as meeting places for our hotel guests, dive guests, and island residents. Both restaurants have something for everyone. Our Blennies restaurant offers an informal atmosphere with service from breakfast to lunch and dinner. For stunning sunsets and delightful dinners, including paired wines, guests can visit our fine-dining restaurant, Ingredients.

What you will do:

• Along with the kitchen team, you will be responsible for the daily operations of restaurant Ingredients.
• Present high-quality dishes that align with the concept and the latest trends.
• Provide guests with an excellent fine-dining experience.
• Focus on developing, preparing, portioning, and plating dishes.
• Make menu suggestions, execute them, and adjust as needed for different dietary requirements.
• Work hygienically and in accordance with HACCP guidelines.

Who we are looking for:

• You have a passion for cooking.
• You are flexible and service-oriented.
• You are responsible and stress-resistant.
• You are a team player and take initiative.
• Preferably, you have an MBO Culinary diploma at level ¾.
• You have knowledge and experience with HACCP guidelines.
• Good knowledge of ingredients, materials, cooking techniques, and equipment.
• You speak English; speaking Dutch is a plus.
